It's a new year...

Mike and I had a great time working at the DL on New Years Eve.  It was busy, but not crazy busy and the crowd was fun and energetic.  For the most part things went very smoothly.  We were able to kiss at midnight for the ninth year in a row and we had many of our good friends there to celebrate as well.  Mike did get in a little scuffle (and by that, I mean an actual, physical fight, haha) with a customer who was rude to me, but it was mostly chivalrous on his part...we laugh about it now.  In all our years together, that has never happened!  Ahh, the life of working at a bar.  

I spent a quiet New Years Day at home with my babies.  I love those two!

G is such a crazy little monkey!  He is better entertainment than any movie or book.  We cuddled and drank cocoa and played with toys all day.  He is totally obsessed with his Buzz Lightyear he got for Christmas.  We play hide-and-go-seek with it and see how long it takes him to find it...he's so proud when he does!

GiGi is growing so fast I can hardly keep up!  It seems like it was yesterday that she started rolling and now she's army crawling.  She also, literally, two days ago,  has started pulling up to her hands and knees doing the little rocking thing.  My quiet days are long over and the ease of a baby that is stationary is a thing of the past as well.  

Umm, and what's with the snow today?  I thought that was over.  I guess I'm in my own world sometimes because I was, more than a little, surprised to wake up to 3 inches on my car this morning!

My pretty baby girl!  I used to think G was the prettiest baby ever, but now I'm not so sure... I think GiGi might have him beat!
